Helping young people learn new skills

Gymnastics in London

We are proud to support the immensely talented Hendon Acrobatics & Tumbling Squad. This London-based gymnastics squad has had success up to international level and gives training opportunities to more than 30 gymnasts over three teams. Acrobatic gymnastics combines the strength, flexibility and precision of gymnastics with the grace of dance and participants perform in a partnership with others, which involves great discipline and teamwork.

Our sponsorship will help the children from Hendon achieve their full potential‎.

Midlands focus on children’s football

We sponsor the Rutland-based Royce Rangers U12s football team, which finished third in the Leicester Foxes Sunday League in the 2013/14 season. Tilney Bestinvest’s managing director Lee Dooley manages the team and we have been associated with the club through Lee for the last three years. During this time dozens of children from age five upwards have been coached to become the football stars of the future. From providing kit sponsorship, to equipment, awards and personnel, the team has thrived as a result of our involvement.

Sailing with the Ocean Youth Trust

Ocean Youth Trust Scotland is a youth development charity committed to the personal and social development of young people. Its pioneering programme is known as Adventure Under Sail and gives young people, regardless of their background or abilities, the opportunity of learning new skills and strengths. Sailing helps build teamwork, communication, concentration and, often much needed, softer skills such as cooking, eating a meal together, living and working in a small environment.

In 2014 we crewed one of the Trust’s 72ft Ocean Racing Yachts for the Cumbrae Caper. The Caper is a key event in the Trust’s fundraising calendar raising £20,000 in previous years.
